Defiance and other things.
Today was warm, if you didn’t notice. Uncomfortably so. Still, no real complaints.
Lessons went, as is the norm, in a bored stupor. We had an Oxbridge meeting at lunch, which was fairly interesting. I need to start going back to my local library again – we were given a reading list and I own none of the books on the list that I haven’t read. Goodness knows I might have to find my way into the Computersy/Mathsy sections too.
After school was our second Hockey practise. Now, I knew that James Pearson used to play hockey but I wasn’t expecting him to be quite so amazing. Also, after running about non-stop for an hour in the oppressive heat, I was then useless for the remainder of the afternoon. Which is no bad thing really, it’s not like I had anything to do.
Then, I watched Defiance with my family. It’s a film set in the holocaust, following the tale of a camp of Jews who are trying to escape being murdered by the Nazis. And it’s a very good film, I regret not having seen it in a cinema.
It is somewhat depressing that I can sum up my day in three paragraphs. Stay tuned.
